The New House- Gardening

We're slowly getting the new place ready to move in to. On Friday at the latest, we plan to make the short move over (short in distance but I've accumulated quite a lot of stuff after 6 years in South America).

We spent the weekend gardening- planting the vegetable plot and lavender, roses and fruit trees. Once we're completely moved in, I'll take some decent photos of the entire house and garden. In the meantime, here are a few photos of the freshly laid grass (now already a shade of beige due to the summer sun) and the newly white-washed exterior walls. It looks so much better and I can't wait to move in later this week...

This is a before the grass photo...

We asado'd a whole Reineta, which came out surprisingly well. We had a couple of other barbeques as well- this house is fantastic for having friends over.

More photos (and possibly some more interesting posts) soon...
